Absolutely not! Our pricing philosophy is complete transparency. Every price you see includes shipping, all applicable taxes, and import tariffs. When we say 500€ for a vintage ceramic piece, that's exactly what you pay - no additional fees upon delivery. This is possible because we use DDP shipping, where we pre-pay all duties and taxes.
At Maison by Angela, we take great care in curating and presenting unique vintage and antique home decor. Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of our items, all sales are final.
We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations, except in the rare case that:
The item has been significantly misrepresented in the product description
The item arrives damaged in transit
In these situations, please contact us at orders@maisonbyangela.com within 72 hours of delivery with clear photos and a detailed description of the issue. We will work with you to resolve the matter as quickly and fairly as possible.

We carefully package each item and ship fully insured. In the event of damage during shipping, we will initiate a claim on your behalf.

All of our items are sourced primarily across Provence in the south of France, handpicked from antique markets, attic sales, trusted dealers, and private collections. However, we do travel around France sometimes and can't miss a good market! We occasionally find treasures from other parts of Europe that make their way to our markets, so not all items are always French - but most are.
We plan for your pieces to arrive in approximately 10-15 business days from order placement when shipping to the continental US and UK. We ship directly from Provence, France using premium carriers like DHL, FedEx, and UPS with DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) service. This means we handle all customs clearance for you - no surprises or additional paperwork on your end. If you need an item sooner, please contact us at orders@maisonbyangela.com. There will be an additional charge for expedited service. For Alaska, Hawaii, or other locations, please contact us for a private quote and timeline.

While formal certificates aren't standard for vintage market finds (which is how authentic pieces are typically sourced), we provide provenance information including the approximate age based on style and construction, any maker's marks or identifying characteristics, and approximate location the item comes from. This documentation accompanies every shipment.
Our authentication process combines years of experience sourcing directly from markets with modern verification methods. Each piece undergoes visual authentication where we examine construction techniques, aging patterns, maker's marks, and material composition that are characteristic of specific regions and time periods. We also utilize AI image analysis for additional verification, cross-referencing visual elements against extensive antique databases.
Significant misrepresentation is another exception to our final sale policy. We personally photograph and describe each piece, but we understand that vintage items can sometimes appear different in person due to lighting or screen variations. If you feel an item was significantly misrepresented, contact us within 72 hours of delivery at orders@maisonbyangela.com, and we'll work together to find a fair resolution.

🚚 Grouped Shipments Orders are typically shipped within 5 business days so we can consolidate outgoing parcels and reduce the number of delivery trucks in circulation.
📦 Reused & Recycled Packaging We give recycled, clean, and durable packing materials a second life. Boxes, bubble wrap, and padding are reused whenever possible to minimize waste and avoid unnecessary production of new materials. We believe in giving materials a second life, just as we do with the antiques we source.
🌎 Carbon Offset Contributions All packages are shipped using carbon-offset programs offered by our shipping partners—such as DHL GoGreen, and similar services through UPS and FedEx—to support cleaner transport solutions. If a shipping partner does not offer this service, we will work with a carbon offset organization.
