Vintage French Green-Glazed Terracotta Pitcher – Signed
This vintage French terracotta pitcher features a rich, glossy green glaze over a natural clay body and a rounded form typical of traditional Provençal pottery. Likely made in Dieulefit between the 1930s and 1950s, it bears a clear potter’s stamp (possibly Roger Mourre), adding to its collectibility. The glaze is beautifully variegated, with visible drip marks and minor glaze crazing consistent with age. There are no chips or cracks. An exceptional example of functional French ceramic art—equally at home on a shelf or tabletop.
